World Aids Day was the first-ever global health day and has continued to be marked since its inception in 1988. 2011 is being marked by the launch of our new website and branding and one of our new Patrons, Christopher Biggins, will be joining us at HART to officially unveil the new look.
Because of the confidentiality of our clients and their families, the event is closed and invitation only. Christopher will be joining us in 2012 for a public fundraiser to which all will be invited.
On 1st December this year come along to the raising of the World AIDS Day flag at the Civic Centre in Uxbridge at 9.30am.
There will also be two other events to mark the occasion on 1 December.

HART will be selling red ribbons around Uxbridge town centre on the day to raise money to help us help those affected by HIV/AIDSl if you see us out and about come and say hello!

On xxxxxxxxxxxxxx there will be a World AIDS Day pub quiz at the Battle of Britain Club, Hillingdon Road, Uxbridge, UB10 0RY. Entry is £10 per person and this includes food.
The event will be supported by Barclays Bank and all proceeds will be doubled under the Hillingdon community support programme.
Whether you can join us or not, we would welcome a small donation to mark the day and help us with our work.
Information on HIV is distributed across the borough and can be obtained from your local library or GP.
