We love our little garden and it is an oasis of tranquility for members. We try and keep colour throughout the year and have a number of dedicated individuals who help us keep the plants thriving. We are always happy to accept donations of plants or pots – we hope you like the photos in our gallery showing the colour of Summer 2011.
Christopher agreed to become our first patron back in September and we were all so excited when he said yes and can’t wait for our members to meet him on 6th June 2012 when he is joining us to launch the new website officially and mark the day with us.
His immediate enthusiasm shines through and he even did a little video for the trustee meeting in September to say how excited he was to be involved. It’s going to be a great asset for HART to have a patron with such national exposure, and one so loved across the country – THANK YOU BIGGINS!
Our Uxbridge centre was bought with a grant from the National Lottery over 15 years ago. Richard, one of our patrons, was instrumental in helping us get this solid foundation. Our services are delivered from Uxbridge as well as over in Harrow and it is the real heart of HART.
You can see more photos of the centre (newly decorated a in the Summer of 2011) on our gallery page.
Not all of the visitors to HART are grown ups. HIV affects all sorts of people, young and old, and many of our clients have children who come along with them to HART. Keeping young minds occupied is always a challenge and we keep some well stocked chests of toys.
If you have any new toys or games you would like to donate to HART this Christmas, please get in touch with us.
